Living Faith

Faith does not begin with what we see—it begins with what we hear.

In this message, Pastor Damon teaches how the Word of God shapes our perspective, strengthens our confidence, and helps us stand when circumstances seem to contradict what God has promised. In a world filled with fear, comparison, bad news, and competing voices, believers must learn to guard their ears and make God’s voice the loudest voice in their lives.

You may not be able to control everything happening around you, but you can control what you allow to shape what is happening within you.

God does not always give us the entire plan. Often, He gives us the next instruction.

Through the life of Elijah in 1 Kings 17, this message reveals how living faith responds to God one step at a time. Elijah confronted Ahab, hid by the Brook Cherith, received provision from ravens, and moved again when the brook dried up—all because he continued to hear and obey the Word of the Lord.

There are seasons when God will hide you, stretch you, redirect you, and teach you to depend on Him in unfamiliar ways. The method may change, but the Source remains the same.

You do not need the entire map to obey God. You need confidence in the One who is leading you.
